About Us

The congregation of Reigning Life Family Church collectively recognized that God had called the ministry to move from East Greenbush to the South End of Albany. In obedience the church purchased its property and relocated to the South End of Albany in 2000. A year later, children from the neighborhoods around the church began to flock to the building, and a new ministry was born. In order to make a place for the children,
a gameroom, small gym, and commercial kitchen were created that launched the recreation. educational, and formal meal program. The church served in the South End of Albany for 20 miraculous years. The Lord then changed the direction of the church again, and the building was put on the market and sold in March of 2024. The Lord led the church back to East Greenbush to establish its third phase of ministry back in the location where it all began!

Meet Our Pastors
Fred and Evelyn Sanles met in Bible School and married shortly after graduation. They served on staff at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas under the tutelage of the late Dr. John Osteen. In 1982 they moved to Albany, NY and founded Reigning Life Family Church. Pastor Fred Sanles is a member of Covenant Ministries International, serves on the Board of Directors at the South Mall Towers, and is an instructor at Abundant Life Bible Institute in Whippany, NJ and Faith International Training School in Sayreville, NJ. Evelyn is a graduate of Clemson University with a BA in psychology and holds a Master of Education degree from Russell Sage College. She has completed a two year program of study in Christian counseling and is licensed through the National Christian Counselor's Association as a clinical, pastoral counselor. Evelyn is a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and a lifetime member of the NYS Parent Teacher Association. They have one son, Jonathan Sanles.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Reigning Life Family Church is to help people develop a strong foundation in
their Christian walk based on the principles of
God's word. Pastor Fred Sanles is called to teach
the Word of God to believers so they can grow
and overcome the adversities of life by developing
strong faith. Roman's 5:17 says, "For if by the one man's offense death reigned, through the one,
much more those who receive abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life
through the one Jesus Christ." This scripture is
the foundational scripture for Reigning Life
Family Church.
